Information collected

As part of Marinetrader operations we may gather certain types of information about the users of our sites:
Personally Identifiable Information. This is provided by you when you register for services that we may offer. Examples of these services could include email newsletters or our tips and specials Mail Service. Providing this information will always be optional for you. However, some services may not be available to you if you choose not to provide it.

Aggregated Data. Demographic and profile data is only shared with Marinetrader clients and advertisers on an aggregate or collective basis. We will never tell our clients your name, your postal address or your email address and other such information.

Use of Your Personal Information

Marinetrader uses the information you provide to target and personalise the emails we send to you and the offers we make available to you. We do this to ensure that you only receive relevant and appropriate information.

Marinetrader will not sell or give away your personal information to any other person, company or organisation, unless:

Does Marinetrader send spam?

Marinetrader does not send "spam". This is because as a Marinetrader member, you have the choice to opt-in or opt-out of Marinetrader emails.

How can I stop Marinetrader from sending me emails?

Each email we send to you contains a link at the very bottom allowing you to unsubscribe.

Control of Your Password.

You are responsible for all actions taken with your user name, email address and password, including fees. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your Marinetrader password to any third parties. If you choose to share your user name, email address and password or your information with third parties to provide you additional services, you are responsible for all actions taken with this information and therefore you should review that third parties privacy policy.

Credit Card Security

Marinetrader work diligently to protect the security of your personal information, including credit card information.

We protect your credit card information during transmission by using Direct Payment Solutions (DPS).
Your credit card details are not held by Marinetrader and can not be accessed by Marinetrader staff.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by ensuring you logoff when you have finished visiting Marinetrader using a shared computer.

Your member Rating and Feedback.

Marinetrader website allows you to build an online Rating against your Username. Your member Rating and associated Feedback are viewable by all members and visitors to the website.
